Precious Moments that don’t happen to you unless you have teenage girls…
You don’t have your clothes stolen out of your closet. The “ask” occurs after the clothes are already on the body and she is admiring herself in the mirror. “Mom, can I please wear this?! It looks sooo good on me! How does it even fit you?!”
Of course the back-track on that included: “What I meant was, your boobs are bigger.” As if that makes it better…
More moments to come. Have any you’d like to share??

hahaha… Poor Mom. That’s such a fun remark/backpedaling to hear.

With my stepmom it went more “Can I wear this? I don’t even know why you have this, you’re old!” I can still see her facial expression now. I have a 2 year old boy, he’s already stealing my shoes but I’m pretty sure he’ll grow out of that-Mommy intuition.

I can remember those days growing up with a younger sister. Thankfully these days I have four boys and none are interested in wearing their Mothers clothes.

I will have two teenage girls in a few years. I am considering hiding in a closet for about ten years. I will enjoy reading these:)
